Adiciones del Asteraceae Peruana

The Catalogue of the Flowering Plants and Gymnosperms of Peru (1993) was a benchmark in the recounting of Peruvian floristic diversity. Since its publication, additions and omissions to the flora have been encountered [Beltrán & Baldeon, 2001; Beltrán & Granda, 2003; Dillon & Sagástegui, 2001(2002)].

Dillon & Sagástegui 2001(2002) reported a tally of 239 genera and 1542 species and listed 113 species not found in Dillon & Hensold's treatment (1993).

New taxa will be listed here with the proper author citation as a resource to researchers. No judgment as to their taxonomic validity is implied or intended.

El Catálogo de las Angiospermas y Gimnospermas del Perú (1993) fué un punto de referencia en el registro de la diversidad florística. Desde su publicación, las adiciones y omisiones a la flora han sido publicadas [Beltrán & Baldeon, 2001; Beltrán & Granda, 2003; Dillon & Sagástegui, 2001 (2002)].

Dillon & Sagástegui 2001 (2002) informaron sobre un total de 239 géneros y 1542 especies y listaron 113 especies no encontradas en el trabajo de Dillon & Hensold (1993).

Nuevos taxa son enumerado aquí con la citación correcta como un recurso para investigadores. Ningún criterio respecto a su validez taxonomica está implícito.
