Scaevola plumieri (Goodeniaceae) is a pantropical species, also known from Baja California, Western Mexico, Central America, West Indies, Sir Lanker, Madagascar, Africa, and northern South America. Playa Garrapatero on Isla Santa Cruz.
Scaevola plumieri is known by the common names of "inkberry" or "sea grape". These fruits are considered well adapted to dispersal by ocean currents.
Scaevola plumieri is easily recognized by its alternate fleshy leaves and white, zygomorphic flowers.

Lecocarpus pinnatifidus is a member of the Heliantheae tribe of Asteraceae;
endemic to the uplands of Isla Floreana at edge of crater (400 m). Just a few
meters from the last known population of Linum cratericola. (20 Feb 2004).

Lecocarpus pinnatifidus is only known from one island, Isla Floreana or Santa María

Lecocarpus pinnatifidus has achenes with a small, chartaceous crown.

Bauhinia monandra (Caesalpiniaceae) at sunset on Floreana. It is used as an ornamental.
